dell服务器上vmware装64位系统bios设置
装vmware需要开启VT(Visualization Technology)和ED(Excute disabled)Dell服务器上设置在BIOS里
启动时按F2进Bios
在CPU infomation页
把VT和ED两项设置为enabled即可
保存,重启.
To enable 64-Bit support for Virtual Machines in VMware ESX/Server, you must Enable Virtualization Technology and to configure the ESX host for Enhanced vMotion Compatibility, you must Enable Execute Disable. These settings can be found under the CPU info section of the Dell BIOS. (F2 to enter Dell Bios on the PowerEdge)

•You see error messages similar to:
◦Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings and then click next
3. Click repair the computer
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance

Resolution
This issue can occur if certain options in the BIOS are not enabled. These options vary by hardware manufacturers. For more information, contact your hardware vendor.
To resolve this issue:
1.Verify that the following options are enabled on your server's BIOS:
◦No-Execute Memory Protection
◦Execute Disable
◦Virtualization Technology (VT)
2.Save the settings in your server's BIOS.
3.Power off the ESX host to ensure the options are saved to the system ROM.
4.Power up your ESX host.
